Contractor Mark-up's and Commission Payments

Call me old-fashioned but I’ve got to say taking fees from both Landlords AND Contractors when you are working for the Landlord, to deliver quality and cost-effective property management, just seems wrong.

I imagine this practice is undertaken by quite a number of the typical estate agents. I, along with many, will watch the developing criticism of it with great interest.

We have never marked-up contractor costs.  We have never taken commissions from contractors. It’s not in our DNA. We deliver a premium service at a great cost and achieve great results - that is something that is in our DNA and can all come to work and feel great about.
